BAZOOKA SOCCER CAMP GENERAL INFORMATION
INDIVIDUAL PLAYER:
Bazooka Soccer Academy accepts players of all levels to our camps. Our program focuses on technical and tactical development of a player which will help individual players to challenge themselves at O.D.P, State, Regional, National level and Beyond.
ELITE NATIONAL FIELD PLAYER SCHOOL FOR TEAMS:
This program is for mature players and emphasis is on Advanced Training in Technique and tactics. All players are encouraged to attend the Elite Player School in Pensacola, Florida. Campers will receive Camp T-Shirt, Free career counseling, ACT, English and pre-College Math classes for campers that need it. This is a 4 days intensive camp for incoming Freshmen, Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors. Campers will train like professionals and receive proper nutrition. They will be housed at the University. This program is intended for a LIMITED number of serious players. Over the years, campers attended the Elite National Field Player School from different States and Countries including Jean Lillywhite Soccer Academy from Trinidad & Tobago.
TEAM CAMP:This program is open to all levels of Teams including Travel, Premier and High School Teams. Coaches and designated persons will register all their members together, we will house and train each team together and they will play evening games against participating teams in a league format.If your team is planning on attending, Managers, Coaches or Designated person reserve your spot ASAP because once team camp is closed, application will not be accepted.
GOALKEEPER SCHOOL:The Goalkeeping program focuses on technical, tactical, physiological and psychological as pect of the game. Participants train with our qualified Goalkeeping Coaches in the morning and in the evening they use learned skills to challenge themselves in the evening games.
WHAT TO BRING:Soccer shoes - out door and indoor, Soccer Ball, own soccer equipment, carry-on bag to the soccer field or back pack, towels, alarm clock, quarters for laundry, detergent, phone, pillow & linen, sunscreen, water bottle, toothbrush, & toiletries, medications, phone card and all you may need for residential and commuter camp.ALL CAMPERS WILL RECEIVE: Camp T-Shirt.RELEASE: Parents or Natural Guardian must sign release, indemnity and special power of attorney.
CANCELLATION POLICY: If we cancel camp you will get 100% refund. Player that is unable to attend camp will be charged $100.00 service fee and balance will be applied to next year's camp. If a camper leave early balance will be applied to next year's camp no exception DEPOSIT AND PAYMENT ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.
HOW TO REGISTER: Complete your registration and pay A NON-REFUNDABLE $200.00 deposit or Full payment with CREDIT CARD OR A CHECK, balance is due on or before the first day of camp. DEADLINE: JUNE 1, 2020 - FULL PAYMENT IS DUE AFTER DEADLINE. If a camp is closed your application and payment will be returned to you 100% ASAP. Attach your INSURANCE CARD AND A CHECK(DEPOSIT OR FULL PAYMENT) TO COPY OF YOUR REGISTRATION FORM and mail to Bazooka Soccer. Paying with CREDIT CARD - Attach your INSURANCE CARD to a copy of your registration FORM and mail to Bazooka Soccer.
HOUSING: Housing at the University of West Florida.KEY DEPOSIT: Information on key deposit for each camp will be available soon.ROOMMATE POLICY: Pensacola, Florida - We assign 2 campers to a room. Roommate request will be honored through June 1, 2020REGISTRATION: Starts at 11:00am and ends at 3:00pm Camp meeting will be at 3:00pmCONFIRMATION: Online applications and Mail-in applications will receive confirmation Via E-MAIL so include your e-mail address in your application.
DIRECTION: Specific information for each camp will be sent to you before your camp date regarding where to meet, key deposit for each location and what to bring. Use any (Map/Direction) of your choice and enter your starting address then enter the address of your selected camp which will be posted on our website soon. Pensacola Camp will do check in at the University of West Florida Pensacola, Florida. 11,000 University Parkway Pensacola, Florida 32514 Training will be at the New Stadium Fields at Ashton Brosnaham Soccer Complex host of the 2006 NCAA Div 2 National Championships Festival.
Individuals and teams have attended our soccer school from Germany, Trinidad & Tobago, Ireland, London England, Columbia, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Rhode Island, Virginia, Tennessee, North and South Carolina, Georgia, Mississippi, Louisiana, Alabama, Texas, Oklahoma and Florida.Over the years, players that have attended our soccer school have gone to respective Colleges or Universities and upon graduation they have moved on to different soccer career.
DIRECTORBazooka Soccer Academy is Directed by Boni Okafor a former Professional Soccer Player and a Prolific Striker with extensive experience playing soccer in Europe, South East Asia, Middle East and Africa. He is an All-America at the University of West Florida and has over 20 years of camp experience working with youths of all ages and consulting with Teams and Clubs, Youth Organizations, Nationally and Internationally. Boni Has a pro- Coaching license and USSF "B" Coaching license. University of West Florida Soccer Hall Of Fame Inductee.KEY STAFFS/GUEST COACHES.JEAN LILLYWHITE:Professional Soccer Coach and Former Assistant U-21 National Coach for Trinidad & Tobago. Jean is a USSF "A" License Coach and has NSCAA Advance National Diploma, Brazilian Advance Diploma and CONCACAF Goalkeeping Certification.WILLIAM LAWSON:Professional Soccer Coach around the World and Director of Futsal Academy. William has a Brazillian Advanced National Coaching Diploma.* We place emphasis on individual instruction and demonstration with age and ability grouping.TAMA AONDOFAR: (Guest Coach)Tama is the former Men's Head Coach at Oral Robert University, Assistant at University of Dayton. He was a former International Coach, Player and Former Head Coach of Tulsa Roughnecks (USISL). Tama is an All-American and holds USSF "A" Coaching License.MARVIN SMITH: (Guest Coach)Former Women's Head Soccer Coach at huntingdon College and Birmingham Saint Semi-Professional Soccer League. He has USSF "A" Coaching License.
